Martin Luther King Assassination

Martin Luther King was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 4, 1968, an event that sent shock waves reverberating around the world. A Baptist minister and founder of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), King had led the civil rights movement since the mid-1950s, using a combination of impassioned speeches and nonviolent protests to fight segregation and achieve significant civil-rights advances for African Americans. His assassination led to an outpouring of anger among black Americans, as well as a period of national mourning that helped speed the way for an equal housing bill that would be the last significant legislative achievement of the civil rights era.

               Just after midnight on October 6, 2010, Kevin Systrom signed into his Apple App Store control panel. "Here we go," he thought. With a click, Instagram , the photo-sharing app he'd created with Mike Krieger, was open to the world. Beta users had been signing up for access for weeks, and now, with them all on board and posting photos, buzz was building .Systrom and Krieger released a simple photo-sharing app. It was named not Burbn, but Instagram. "It's about going through false starts," Systrom said at a conference in 2012. And, yep, "Burbn was a false start. The location that Instagram was made was in San Francisco,California.

    One feature of Instagram that i particularly like is being able to post pictures and videos. When you are about to post a video or picture you can add colors or word to it.a weakness is you can only add a couple colors and words.                                                                                                                        Step one: Find what picture you what to post                                                                                            Step two: Click on the picture                                                                                                                    Step three: Change the brightness to what you want                                                                                Step four: If you wanted more then one picture then all the ones you what                                              Step five :If you want colors add them                                                                                                      Step six : Add a caption                                                                                                                             Step seven: If you want to tag any users you can tag them                                                                       Step eight : Add a location                                                                                                                         Step nine: Post the picture or pictures that you chose                                                                               Step ten: After you post if like it and share it                                                                                                  And that's the ten steps posting a photo or video on Instagram.

       Instagram is a mobile ,desktop , and internet bused photo-sharing application and service that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly or privately to per-approved followers.Instagram has over 233 million users.It was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and launched in October 2010 as a free mobile app exclusively for the ios operating system A version for Android devices was released two years later in April 2012.Followed by a feature-limited  website interface in November 2012 and apps for windows 10 and in April 2016 and October 2016 respectively.It is owned by Facebook. I really like Instagram but i don't like how users accounts can get hacked so easily.On Instagram you can message anyone in direct message or DM .The best thing about Instagram is being able to like and comment on other users posts.Also being able to see if other users are on the app and how long they have been off.
